Have a Happy Thanksgiving filled with gratefulness

Thanksgiving is the time of the year when we think about all the things we have in our lives to be thankful for.

Although we should try to embrace thankfulness and gratitude all year, this is the perfect time to get started

What is Gratefulness?

Gratefulness is being conscious of a benefit that we received, and appreciating that we received that benefit.  Here are some things to be grateful for this holiday season, and ways to express that gratitude!

Be grateful that your body is healthy enough to enough to enjoy the holiday season. Even if you are ill, be grateful for the things you can do and the time you have

1. Health

Express your gratefulness for your health by continuing to take care of your body and mind. Exercise, meditate, and eat a healthy diet.

1. Health

If you have a family member that you know you can depend on, be grateful. Not everyone can count on family, and it's a blessing when you can.

2. Family

Show your appreciation for your family by being there for them in return. Be present in their lives, listen, and be there for them when they might need you.

2. Family

Family don't end in blood. Sometimes we choose our family with the friendships we build. If you have amazing friends you consider family, be sure to appreciate them.

3. Friendships

Show your friends you love them by keeping in touch. Send a text or an email, catch up over the phone. Make an effort to show you care.
