The work pants I bought to accommodate my extra weight barely fit anymore, and I love that for me.

Fatphobia is real, as evidenced by the boatloads of people who report that others are much nicer to them after they lose weight. The public freely ridicules and ignores overweight people.

Now that I’ve lost the extra weight, I’m wearing my cute summer dresses, skinny jeans, and nice blouses again. I don’t feel the need to wear my sweater with every outfit either.

When I was at my heaviest, I had to fly someplace for work. I was shocked at how small the seats felt. After losing weight, I took another trip to LA, and the seats were so much more comfortable. They were still small, but I could reach my bag under my seat without getting stuck by my giant thighs.
