Wall Art – Abstract Painting “Breaking Down the Walls”

Breaking Down the Walls is a work in abstract expressionism that rejects structure. Although the fine line separates the orange from the gray, the colors burst out of one another, breaking those walls of separation that tried so desperately to keep them apart. 

The colors aren’t as static as they first appear. Both the orange and gray areas have variations in value, highlighting that even the walls aren’t what they seem.
