Wall Art – Abstract Painting “All the Colors in the World”

All the Colors in the World is one of Melanie Allen’s first works. Here, she experiments with the bold primary colors, letting them float freely around the canvas in swirls yet constricting them to their third of the canvas in the bold geometric rectangles. 

As an early work, you will find some minor inconsistencies with the flow as Allen was experimenting with the medium. There are tiny cracks and areas where the flow didn’t receive the full color, but these flaws also make it special. 

Allen said if she were to recreate the work knowing what she does now, she’d put the bright bold yellow in the center, letting the darker red and blue draw your attention to the middle. 

The piece is 16×20 inches, acrylic on canvas.
